Henry James is a male, 3 year old, 14 pound Shih Tzu that was brought to us with very badly infected eyes. His right eye was so bad, the veterinarian had to do emergency surgery to save it. That was August 17th. At this posting 9/27, Henry still has both eyes and both are healing well. His last vet visit, he was taken off all meds and now it is just time before it completely heals. Through all this medical and displacement period, Henry has been the perfect dog. He is a great companion and will never leave your side. Very housebroken and does not mark in the house. Gets along well with the dogs, could care less about cats and would do very well with older, well behaved children. Since his eyes are no longer painful, he is beginning to play with the dogs and run around the yard in a happy trot. Where ever you go, you just need to look around and he will be by your side. He sleeps well in a kennel and night and will immediately go to his kennel on command. He gets very excited about a leash coming out, because he loves to go. Get very excited about car rides and after a few blocks will settle down and enjoys the scenery. Henry James is heartworm negative, neutered, vaccinations up to date and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 dollars. If interested in Henry, please submit an application from this website.
