Emma
DogShih Tzu · Senior · Female · 10 lbs
Emma is a 10-pound senior Shih Tzu found stray in Bexar County with one eye and a serious leg wound. She had her rear right leg removed in April 2026 due to cancer and is now receiving rehab — cold laser, water treadmill, and acupuncture at Healing Hands. She is improving, hopping short distances, and standing to eat. Determined and sweet as can be.
Check back soon — we'll move Emma to the adoptable list once medical care is complete.
Jody
DogYorkie · 10-12 years old · Female · 8 lbs
Jody is a quiet, sweet 8-pound Yorkie, approximately 10-12 years old. She was adopted from Animal Care Services and then surrendered to rescue when her adopter was unable to continue her care. Jody loves a soft bed and being near her person, and she gets along beautifully with other dogs. She is currently pending a dental, antibiotics for a possible UTI, and some eye care before she is ready for adoption.
Check back soon — we'll move Jody to the adoptable list once medical care is complete.
